Spring Hill Tree Removal is a tree removal and arborist company based in Spring Hill, TN, with more than twenty years of tree work across Middle Tennessee behind it. We have worked the Outer Nashville Basin, the Inner Basin cedar glades and the Western Highland Rim, which sound like the same place on a map and behave nothing alike once a machine is on the ground.
That range is most of what we bring to a job. A tree standing in shallow clay residuum over limestone fails differently from one on the cherty soils of the Rim, and a crew that has only worked one of them tends to be surprised by the other.
Our Approach

We put the details in writing before anything starts. The proposal names what is included and what is not — the trunk rounds, the stump, the grindings and the chips — and which county gate the debris is going to, because Maury and Williamson charge different rates and hold contractors to different terms. We read the ordinance for the city the tree actually stands in rather than applying one rule to the whole metro, since Spring Hill requires no permit on private property while Murfreesboro, Oak Hill and Forest Hills each answer that question their own way. Before we quote any work near a line, we check which of the three electric utilities serves the address instead of assuming.
We would also rather keep a tree than sell a removal. Pruning is worked to the objectives and cut types the ANSI A300 standard defines, and we do not top trees at any price. Where a tree can be cabled, braced or pruned instead of taken out, we say so and price that option alongside the removal.
Our compact tracked equipment fits a standard back-yard gate, so a subdivision tree does not have to become a crane job, and we keep crane and rigging capacity for the mature canopy on the older lots south and east of the hub, where it is genuinely needed. Storm response here is planned around the ice loading and straight-line wind this area actually records rather than a generic severe-weather script, and we will give you a straight answer on whether a job is worth an insurance claim.
What We Do
We remove trees, grind and excavate stumps, trim and prune to named objectives, treat and diagnose declining trees, clear land and fence lines with a forestry mulcher, take on shrub, hedge and brush work, run crane assisted removals on the trees that need them, and answer emergency and storm calls once something is already down. We also write the arborist reports people need for an HOA architectural review committee, an insurer or a neighbor, and we handle the permit question for whichever city the tree stands in. Estimates are free, they are written down, and they include the boring lines that decide what a job really costs. Ask us for one.
